In February 2018, Kim (my mum) joined me having left her job in childcare. In January 2020 we welcomed Erin into the team as the business continued to grow. We offer a range of services including group and solo walks, puppy/pet visits, doggy day care and equine care. We are committed to providing the utmost care and services to all our customers and their pets and we treat each as if they were our own!

Big Licks Dog Walking were extremely honored to be awarded  2019 BEST PET CARE BUSINESS at Scotland's Business Awards for the Perthshire area and look forward to attending the Scottish National Finals later in the year.
My Story

My name is Gemma Mallis and I am the owner of Big Licks Dog Walking. In July 2017 I decided to take the leap and leave my full time job in Glasgow to start up my own business. Having moved back home to Auchterarder earlier in the year and the commute back and forth to Glasgow getting too much, it seemed the right time to pursue something I loved.

Growing up I was always around dogs, mostly Vizslas and Spaniels and I also had my own horse.  When I left home I decided to get my own furbaby so that's when Hugo my Labrador came along.  Anyone who knows me would tell you, Hugo is my absolute life - my right arm!
